Atriz cantante, parte 2

Que coincidência. Hoje o Correio Braziliense publicou uma matéria sobre atrizes que estão se lançando como cantoras. Aí cita a Scarlet Johansson, de quem falei no post anterior, e uma outra que eu não sabia que também havia enveredado pelo mesmo caminho: Zooey Deschanel.

Ela é menos conhecida e celebrada que a Scarlet, mas ainda assim fez filmes que talvez vocês possam ter visto: "Quase famosos" e "O Guia dos Mochileiros das Galáxias" (que me deixou pérolas bestas eternas como as frases So long and thank you for the fish! e The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything is... 42).

Zooey faz parte da dupla She & Him, que lançou recentemente o CD "Volume 1". O "Him" é o cantor country-folk M. Ward, que co-produziu álbuns para artistas como Cat Power. Depois de ler a matéria, fui logo procurar alguma música deles. Seguem dois vídeos: um só da moça cantando "Dream a little dream of me" (uma das minhas músicas preferidas de todos os tempos) e o outro com o M. Ward.

PS. Sobre o post abaixo da Scarlet: Na tal matéria que li hoje, há uma informação muito interessante. Quem faz backing vocal na música "Falling down" é o David Bowie.
